ON THE WATCH.

I just bought this watch for my brother's 18th birthday, I think he was really excited but the only problem was: I REALLY wanted to keep it myself -.- BUT eventually I parted from this beautiful piece of jewelery with a brand new epiphany! Let aside the haute couture and prêt-a-porter fashion world and ask yourself what real chance do men REALLY have to wear jewelery? ( insert answer here:________)
... yeah, I kinda thought so. Unless you're really an "over-the-top-fashion-victim" ( and I really, really don't mean this to be offensive in ANY way what so ever), or living in some mind blowing fashion metropole OR in Skandinavia, then you (as a man) are a bit limited in your every day accessoirs life.
David and I were talking about this the other day and, it's not that we from Nana loves it. don't think it's awesome for men to wear well-portioned, beautiful jewelery as a man, it's just that you don't see AS MANY self-conscious fashionable men, as you do women.
A watch is somehow still a man's flagship, it can make an entire outfit go from "HELL YEAH" to "HELL NO".
I'm not going to start this debate on "negative" connotations about men and fashion in a post, simply, because we don't want our readers to misunderstand us and drag this into a semi- political debate. All we want, is for fashion to be seen as what it is: A beautiful, ideal way of expressing yourself, your taste and love for fashion without being judged, or put into a box.

Ich habe meinem Bruder gerade diese Uhr zu seinem 18. Geburtstag gekauft. Ich glaube, dass er sich sehr gefreut hat, das Problem war bloß: Ich wollte diese Uhr WIRKLICH selbst behalten -.- ABER letztendlich habe ich mich von diesem wunderschönen Stück Schmuck getrennt mit einer brandneuen Erkenntnis! Lassen wir mal die Haute Couture und Prêt-a-Porter Mode der Welt außen vor und fragt euch welche WIRKLICHE Chance haben Männer, Schmuck zu tragen? (Antwort hier einfügen:________)
... ja, das dachte ich mir. Vorausgesetzt man ist wirklich ein "over-the-top-fashion-victim" ( und ich meine das wirklich, wirklich nicht abwertend in IRGENDEINER Art und Weise), oder man lebt in einer überwältigenden Mode Metropole ODER in Skandinavien, so ist man(n) doch in seinem alltäglichen Accessoir Leben recht eingeschränkt. David und ich unterhielten uns die Tage über dieses Thema, es ist nicht, dass wir von Nana loves it. nicht der Meinung sind, dass es großartig ist für Männer gut portionierten, schönen Schmuck zu tragen, es ist bloß, dass man nicht SO HÄUFIG selbst- und modebewusste Männer, wie Frauen sieht. 
Eine Uhr ist das Aushängeschild des Mannes. Es kann ein Outfit umkehren von "JA VERDAMMT" zu "NEIN VERDAMMT".
Ich werde die Debatte über "negative" Konnotationen von Männern und Mode nicht in einem Post führen ganz einfach, weil wir nicht wollen, dass unsere Leser uns falsch verstehen und dies in eine semi-politische Debatte ziehen. Alles was wir wollen ist, dass Mode als das gesehen wird, was sie ist: Eine wunderbare Art sich selbst, seinen Geschmack und Liebe für Mode auszudrücken ohne verurteilt zu werden, oder in eine Schublade gesteckt zu werden.
